Read more here about a freelance writing opportunity.
If you are looking for an on line work from home job take a look at the following sites.

The Elance website allows you to search for freelance or contract opportunities. They have listed over twenty five thousand jobs in the last month alone. The work on offer includes, design and multimedia, writing and translation, admin and support, finance and the list goes on.

Guru

Similar to Elance. Business owners can find staff and if you're are looking at starting your own online business you will find freelance options here too.

Employers post job opportunities, usually with a budget amount and freelancers quote on the particular job. Payments are made via Escrow to ensure both parties are protected. Learn more about Guru here.

Constant Content

Constant Content describe themselves as a 'consignment shop of articles and pictures'. Authors submit content and set their price. They also choose which rights they will offer, for example, full, exclusive, usage etc.

The work is then checked for plagiarism and reviewed by an editor. A portion of the article is then listed. Once it is purchased the full article is then availabe for the customer to download.

Through Constant Content you can purchase fresh content for your business website or sell your own work. You can check out their site here. Other options for online work from home jobs include submitting articles to various sites. Here are just a few but I think that they are some of the better ones.

Hubpages.com

Write about topics of your choosing, develop a 'fan base', create royalty income through Google Ads, Ebay and Amazon. You can also search through more than 300,000 'hubs' to find information on just about anything.

Here is their site.

Helium.com

Learn what you need, share what you know. In a way Helium is similar to Hubpages but they do pay some of their writers. They also run writing contests.

Ezine Articles.com

Soon to be celebrating 10 years on the net, Ezine Articles provide hundreds of thousands of articles for purchase. Email newsletter publishers can then view your article to be featured on their website. See the Ezine Articles website for more details.

Squidoo.com

In the way that Hubpages and Helium provide content, with Squidoo you create a 'lens'. Squidoo grew by 91% in 2008 and according to their website is one of the top 300 websites in the US. Take a look at the Squidoo website

Think outside the box

AS you are look at these online work from home jobs you may think that these options are not for you. And that is perfectly fine. But consider the opportunity to develop an internet presence through these sites.

If you have an online or even an offline business you will know enough about your product or service to write a few pages on it. You can then 'post' your article to Hubpages, Helium or Squidoo and generate some traffic to your site through your content.

Be careful not to flood your article with links back to your website. Each site mentioned has their own criteria. Most will allow a mention of your site but be careful not to overdo it or you will upset them.
